The post-race Wine and Music Festival presented by Ken Wright Cellars is a unique highlight of the Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon experience. Get a taste (or two) of Oregon’s world class wine country right at the finish line. Over 20 local wineries will be providing complimentary tastings to race finishers. Also enjoy live music by a popular local artist; additional beer, food, and merchandise vendors; and the festive atmosphere of downtown Carlton with your friends, family, and running community!
Can spectators attend the wine and music festival?
The festival is open to the public, but in order to participate in wine tastings, spectators will need to have a guest tumbler or glass. Guest tumblers/glasses can be pre-purchased online here for $15-25. Glasses will also be sold on site at the festival while supplies last.
Is there seating and/or covered space?
There is limited tent coverage and table seating available on a first-come-first-served basis. Many participants also choose to sit on the grass lawn near the live music stage. VIP race participants will have access an additional covered VIP area.
Is there food available?
Race participants will have access to light recovery snacks as they finish their race. Additional food vendors within the festival space are not guaranteed; however, there are several restaurants, cafes, and tasting rooms offering food surrounding the finish line area.
I finished my race before 9:00am. What can I do until the festival starts?
The recovery tent, medical tent, several vendors, and VIP area will be open immediately following the first race finish.
