Awards

About our results categories

The Oregon Wine Country Half presented by Subaru is for ALL athletes and we’re proud to announce the addition of an open category for this year’s race, the first of its kind in Oregon. Top finishers across all three results categories; open, female, or male are eligible for fabulous finishers awards. Your results category will be determined by the selection you make at time of registration.

Top 3 Overall Male, Female & Open

1st Place-$500 plus large format bottle of wine and Award Plaque

2nd Place-$300 plus magnum of wine

3rd Place-$200 plus magnum of wine

Men’s, Women’s, and Open Masters champions (40+) will  also be awarded a gift certificate and a magnum of wine.

Age Group Awards

Wine is awarded to top 3 male, female, and open finishers in age division every 10 years from 21 to 70+ age groups. Awards are determined by the runner’s age on race day. Alternative gifts are provided for the under 21-age group instead of wine.

Team Awards

Teams that have 6 or more members complete the half marathon individually will be eligible for a “team score.” To calculate the team score, we’ll take the top 6 half marathon times completed by your team members, and apply a standard USATF age/gender grading system to determine a final score. The top 2 highest scoring teams will receive awards.

A team must have a minimum of 6 runners finish the half marathon as individuals to qualify as a “scoring team”. Beyond your 6 scoring half marathon runners, your team may include any combination of half marathon runners, relay runners, or 5k runners and walkers there to sport your team spirit and pride!

We’ll also honor our largest team (including any combination of half marathon runners, relay runners, or 5k runners and walkers) and our team with the most spirit on course!

Winery Cup Challenge

The Winery Challenge Trophy is awarded to the fastest scoring team representing a participating winery. To calculate the team score, we’ll take the top 6 half marathon times completed by your team members, and apply a standard USATF age/gender grading system to determine a final score. A team must have a minimum of 6 runners finish the half marathon as individuals to qualify as a scoring team. Beyond your 6 scoring half marathon runners, your team may include any combination of half marathon runners, relay runners, or 5k runners and walkers there to represent your winery as the best of the region!

2-Person Relay Awards

Top finishers are awarded in the following categories, M/M team, F/F team, & Open/Co-ed.
